Friday, August 06, 2010

Acquisition gives clients on-demand targeting and segmentation solutions

Generation5, an Adenyo company, recently announced they have acquired intellectual property, software assets and a specialized business unit from KinetX, an aerospace engineering consulting and contracting company. The acquisition accelerates and augments the company’s product development efforts in the areas of predictive consumer analytics, on-demand consumer modeling and segmentation and market intelligence.

The acquisition includes KinetX Analytic Search Technologies (KAST) and its associated automated analytics software engine - PredictiveIQ. This technology utilizes artificial intelligence technology and statistical analysis techniques to automatically develop, execute, and interpret predictive models in real time. Integration of the KAST technology will enable Generation5 to more rapidly respond to the needs of the market and its customers.

This disruptive technology will have huge implications on how the industry thinks about real-time predictive analytics and business intelligence. Context-driven predictive analytics modelling is a critical differentiator for businesses looking to understand and engage market segments. The integration of the KAST technology into Generation5’s established analytics platform will provide customers with access to robust on-demand targeting and segmentation solutions. Real-time decisioning capabilities will be extended to third party client applications via Generation5 and Adenyo’s API framework and SDKs.
